Jen Jaynes is one of the original core cast members of High Dramma, back in its dirty-dirty amazing days. Since then, she received her Masters in Theatre from Villanova University, and continues to be active in the Philadelphia theatre scene as a teacher, director, actor, writer, designer, singer, Starbucks-locater, pun-maker, dream-maker and dream-chaser. She’s used the awesome skills she honed while in High Dramma for various writing, directing, and acting projects for the last ten years.
Her favorite High Dramma character she’s performed? Probably Muffy, the naive and blinder-wearing sorority sister of AZZKAKE (alpha zeta zeta kappa alpha kappa epsilon), who deep down means well, but shallow up can’t seem to see the world through any other glasses but idiot-colored ones. Poor thing.
You can most recently find Jen working UArts College of Performing Arts, Without A Cue Productions, Sandy Run Middle School, Beacon Theatre Productions, West Chester Studio for the Performing Arts, and MacGuffin Theatre & Film Company. Oh, and she also tutors math and science and offers private acting/singing lessons: jenlynnjaynes.wix.com/home
